BARREL NUT

•          High strength, self-locking nuts designed for use with high strength bolts of tensile strength up to 240 KSI.
•          Used in locations where wrenching space is not available for regular nuts, such as round mounting holes of a forging. The use of barrel nuts eliminate the need for threads in structure, making them suitable for tension joints.
•          The self-locking feature are either deformed upper threads (crimp), or have a nylon or Vespel® locking insert.
•          Available in non-floating (fixed) and floating configurations.
